My favorite book is Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon, because it makes me feel, all emotions, one moment I am so angry I want to scream another moment I am in tears. This book literally tugged my heart and tore it up.
Oh, I do love a book that rips your heart out! Great choice, Donna
Great book, loved Ash’s story.
Historical faves, though, I’d have to go with my first loves, the Montgomery’s from Jude Deveraux and the Mallory’s from Johanna Lindsey. Although, more recently, my historical go-to girl is Sherry Thomas. Delicious is a gorgeous piece of romance fic.
AND Sherry is completely wonderful in person.
Heather, it’s like you have a direct line into my reading brain! I’ve totally read all of those, and LOVE Sherry Thomas. Her latest, Ravishing the Heiress, is winging its way to me and I can’t wait to DEVOUR it!
I have a lot of favorite books, but right now my go-to favorite is Chasing Seth by JR Loveless.
Yvette

I’ve not heard of that book before – will have to check it out!
Wow my favorite of all time hum… I think the first Rachel Morgan book Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison
I do love a bit of Kim Harrison…haven’t yet read A Perfect Blood, but I’m mightly looking forward to it!
I have several favorite books but the one book I recommend to everyone is Watchers by Dean R. Koontz. This book is centered around a Golden Retriever, military veteran, and the woman they save who saves them in return. Koontz writting style pulls you into the story.
suz2(at)cox(dot)net
Strangers by Dean R. Koontz was one of my very favourite books when I was a teenager. In fact, I did my final year big English assignment on it!
Watchers was always a fave as well – loved Nora and her progression from timid to AWESOME!
Strangers is another fav! Actually, I like pretty much all of Koontz’s books.
Magic Bleeds by Ilona Andrews. It’s got the perfect blend of action and romance mixed in with sexy shapeshifters.

I do love the Kate Daniel series. They’ve progressed so nicely. Good choice, Anne

JR Ward BDB series is my all time favorite- Rhage is top of the list
thanks for the contest!!!
Ah, BDB series – Zsadist was always my fave. Not a massive surprise, really…I do love the tortured hero!
I loved Kresley Cole book Lothaire from her Immortals After Dark series. Wonderful story telling ability. She was able to take a character that’s “evil” and give him a story where you are rooting for him! Great series!!!
Thanks for the contest.
donnasing777@yahoo.com
I haven’t read Lothaire yet…good to know it’s something to look forward to!
My favorite book ever is Kitty Thomas’ Comfort Food. I don’t know what I was expecting when I sat down to read it, but it literally changed the way I look at books and what I read. I hear all these people talking about how Fifty Shades changed their lives. This changed mine. It’s not a romance (which is what I usually read), but I LOVED it.

I haven’t heard of this one. Will have to check it out!
Thank you so much for the great contest! Conrad from Dark Needs at Night’s Edge is my favorite vampire because he fights back from losing his mind for love! **Sigh**
jessharrison78@yahoo.com
Ah, Conrad is my fave in IAD series as well. Again, tortured hero…It’s like a recurring theme or something with me ;p
My favorite right now is Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McQuire. I love the roller coaster of emotions and the bad boy that is Travis!!
Another one I don’t know!
I love this, I’m finding all sorts of must-read books
my fav books :
in death series by jdrobb and night huntress series by jeaniene frost..i love both,,the hero : misterious, sexy, dark and gentleman,,care with a women.
What a wonderful reason, Dian.
I like both those series as well. It’s so lovely to share the same tastes with people, isn’t it?
I love most of the books mentioned above, but I am going to choose one that through semi-parody shows what true love and bravery are all about, with a hero who always tells the heroine “As you wish”, and villains who fight not to the death, but “to the pain”. Of course, this is The Princess Bride by William Goldman, and if you have only seen the movie, you need to read the book.
What a great choice, Mary. I LOVE ther movie version of the Princess Bride, and the book is just as amazing. I have an anniversary version (could be 25…not sure) and the little bits Willusm Goldman added are awesome. For example, did you know Stephen King’s relatives are from Florin?
It’s kind of hard for me to say what my ‘very’ favorite book is, but one series that is a favorite is The Twilight Saga. As to the why, well because it was those books that fueled my passion for reading. I did NOT like to read before those books. And even when my sister loaned me the books, it took me a good six months or more before I even attempted to read them. So I’m forever grateful for those books making me want to read all the time now.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Pam, what a wonderful way to get back into reading! I’m so glad the Twilight Saga gaveyou the oomph you needed
I love pride and prejudice and the harry potter series. I read these books in a very important period of my life and they stuck with me ever since
aliasgirl at libero dot it
Pride and Prejudice holds a special place in my heart – after all, the hero is a brusque, uncommunicative man with a secret, desperate passion for the heroine…hmm. not a theme with me at all
I don’t know if I have an absolute favorite. I have way too many that I really like, so I’ll pick one of my faves. Caressed by Ice by Nalini Singh. I love all her books but there’s one thing Caressed by Ice has that the others don’t…JUDD!! He’s one of my all-time favorite heroes.
Oh yes! Judd is a FAVE! Again, cold hero with overwhelming passion for the heroine…it’s getting boring, isn’t it, peeps? ;p
I would have to make it a favourite series instead of a book: Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward. I just love those bad boys with hearts of gold! I was lukewarm about the first in the series, but totally fell in love with Lover Eternal which was Book #2 and featured Rhage (swoon!).
Thanks for the giveaway!

Ah, the BDB series. Fun times for all! Lover Awakened is my fave, but I’m quite fond of Lover Eternal
I don’t have a favorite book, there are just too many terrific books out there to just pick one. One of my favorite new releases from this year so far is LETHAL RIDER by Larissa Ione. I love the world that she has built, first with the Demonica series and now with the Lords of Deliverance ones. The LoD series is unique, I have not read any other stories starring the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse before. Oh, and her books are HAWT!

June, I’ve read the Demonica series, but haven’t yet attempted LoD. Will have to check it out!
The Great Lenore by J.M. Tohline is my favorite! The writing is breathtakingly beautiful, and the story is one that stays with you and has you thinking about it for weeks…
Thanks for the amazing giveaway!

I like Pride and Prejudice for the characters and story.
Great choice! P&P is always a wonderful read
