Hey peeps!
Welcome to the Naughty or Nice Blog Hop! Big thanks go to Nat of Reading Romances for hosting.
What a great topic! Naughty or nice, I do love a bit of the romance. Both hold appeal, but lets look at them in detail, shall we?
I’m reading The Seduction of Phaeton Black by Jillian Stone at the moment, and I’d definitely class that as naughty! Phaeton is a deliciously naughty character, bestowing his, ahem, favours wherever he pleases to the delight of the ladies. It will take one very special woman to hold his attention – and it seems he’s met her in Miss America Jones.
A nice romance – an absolutely lovely one, in fact – is Goddess of the Hunt by Tessa Dare. The story is romantic and lovely and just makes you feel good. I love a bit of nice with my romance sometimes. As we all know, I’m a big fan of Dark! Tortured! romances, but a really well done sweet and lovely romance is quite wonderful, and Tessa Dare has the stuff ;p
With my own books, I’d say ROUGH DIAMOND is pretty naughty! The hero, Rupert, delights in being a bit mischievous, and his act of the empty-headed buffoon bedevils the heroine, Alice, to no end. Heh.

Owner of the Diamond Saloon and Theater, Alice Reynolds is astounded when a fancy Englishman offers to buy her saloon. She won’t be selling her saloon to anyone, let alone a man with a pretty, empty-headed grin…but then, she reckons that grin just might be a lie, and a man of intelligence and cunning resides beneath.
Rupert Llewellyn has another purpose for offering to buy the pretty widow’s saloon—the coal buried deep in land she owns. However, he never banked on her knowing eyes making him weak at the knees, or how his deception would burn upon his soul.
Each determined to outwit the other, they tantalize and tease until passion explodes. But can their desire bridge the lies told and trust broken?
As for nice… well, TEACH ME is nice and naughty! Heh. Three years a widow, Elizabeth determines to learn all of erotic pleasure, and the Earl of Malvern is engaged as her tutor. Naughty times ensue.
‘By Moon and Sea’, my contribution to Smut by the Sea, is a naughty tale as well, a short story about a wife waiting for her husband on a balcony by the sea. When he comes home, naughty times ensue.
And now, the contest#!
What do you guys think is a naughty romance? A nice one? What are your favourite romantic tales? Let me know!

I think it depends on the mood I’m in. I enjoy y a books which are usually nice. But other times you need something a lot hotter. The only thing for me is they must have a good story. There is a certain “shady” story that I am not the slightest bit interested in reading because its not got a proper story. My friends who have read it were disappointed.
I tend to prefer the naughtier, spicier romances. I love Kallypso Masters and Cherise Sinclair, but I do still pick up the nice romances. Bella Andre is a favorite there. I have both Teach Me and Rough Diamond on my TBR list. I’m on hold now from hubby but as soon as I can I will be buying them.

I recently read a naughty and nice novel, Beauty and the Feast by Julia Barrett. I tend to read naughty ones as long as the story is engaging. I pick up a nice read when I felt let down by a naughty read.

Naughty all the way. I’ll even read the books in public. I don’t care
I have so many erotica stories, it’ll be too long to name
My all time favourite author is Robin Badillo and Tyler Robbins (they’re the same xD) I’ve read all her books and just love them so much!
Woohoo! Great theme for a hop! I like the “Naughty” books. The naughtier the better.
My favorite naughty books are the Pack/Pride series by Shelly Laurenston. I do read the “nice” books too, when I get too hot from the “naughty” ones. LOL
Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win.

I generally read naughty books, like ones by Cherise Sinclair, Kallypso Masters, Laurann Dohner, Lora Leigh. I do occassionally read “nice” books with a naughty nature! Catherine Anderson and Julie Garwood are those authors.

I think it isn’t just the sex that makes a romance naughty – I think it can just be how the characters behave toward one another. You can also have romances with lots of sex that are really nice books, comparatively.
As long as it has a good story line and plot I am happy. I just finished Bared to You by Sylvia Day, thought it as rather naughty!

Too many books out there to list so Im just going to give you a few of my favorite naughty authors Donna Grant, Kresley Cole, JR Ward,Gena Showalter,Sherrelyn Kenyon and many many more lol.
Hmm naughty ones tend to lean toward erotic, not necessarily erotica though. Nice are sweet romance.
I just love when one character pushes all the buttons of the other character, it’s naughty funny !
The books I read tend to have a mixture of both, some of my faves include the Dark Hunters by Sherrilyn Kenyon, BDB by J.R. Ward, The Demonica Series by Larissa Ione, The Lords of the Underworld by Gena Showalter, The Warriors of Poseidon by Alyssa Day and many more.

My current favs are Little Squirrels Can Climb Tall Trees by Michael Murphy and Karen Colcraft’s vegan werewolf books. Some would consider them “naughty” simply because they are mm romances but I disagree and that is what makes the world go ’round.
My favorite stories have both naughty and nice in them. The In Death series by J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts) has that.
Thanks, Cassandra!

I think I am on the nice side of things
but a little spice never hurt!
I love nice with a bit of naughty, or just plain naughty!
But if a story is very well written and captures my attention, I don’t always need the naughty. I recently read “A Candle in the Dark” by Megan Chance, and it was “I can’t put it down” good, even with only one love scene! So it just depends on the book for me.
for me it all depends on what kind of mood im in. i love both naughty and nice books.
thanks for the giveaway!
I love the naughty books. I love Kresley Coles Immortals After Dark series. Very naughty.
